Teaching & Learning
The experienced and dedicated staff at University Park Primary School (UPPS) deliver a rigorous, research-based curriculum designed to engage and extend every student.
We maintain a relentless focus on Literacy and Numeracy, supported by well-established learning and intervention programs that enable all students to achieve their best possible learning outcomes.
At UPPS, we recognise the importance of providing a balanced curriculum that enables all learners to develop their interests and strengths. Our students have access to a broad range of specialised subjects and programs, including Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Performing Arts, Auslan (Australian Sign Language), Physical Education and Art, in addition to a Kitchen Garden program, the Bluearth mindful movement program and interschool sport.
Families have many opportunities throughout the year to see learning in action and share in their child’s learning journey. From fortnightly assemblies led by our student leaders to whole-school performances and Learning Showcases, our students thrive on opportunities to share their learning, growth and development with families, peers and, at times, the broader St Albans community.
